Does every product go to dry cleaning?

Definitely yes! Every product you rent from Modaloop goes to dry cleaning before renting.

The event has been canceled due to Covid19, can I return the dress?

In event cancellations within the mandatory Covid19 bans set by the state, you can return your dress and get your full money back without any deduction.

What should I do if I cannot deliver my rented product due to the mandatory Covid19 bans?

Contact us for cancellation as soon as possible and report your situation. In case of mandatory bans, we will assist you as soon as possible.

How is the rental fee calculated?

We recommend that you set a rental price for your product with an average of 10-15% of the sales price, this pricing may vary according to the supply demand of the product. However, in Modaloop, the rental fee of the products belongs entirely to the lessor. You can get an idea by comparing the prices of similar products.

Can I try the products before renting?

Unfortunately, we currently do not have such a service. However, if the product you rented does not suit you, you can return the product within 24 hours without removing the label, we charge 50 TL to cover the cost of dry cleaning and courier.

How many days can I rent the product? Can I extend the process after renting?

You can rent our products for 4 days as standard, and you can determine the rental period yourself. If you still want to spend more time with your product, you should email hello@modaloop.co during the rental, otherwise you will be charged an average daily rental fee for each delay day.

How do I rent products?

In order to rent a product in Modaloop, you must first be a member of the system. After choosing the product you like, the date range and the number of days you want to rent, you can go to the payment screen and create your rental order.

What is the rental period?

You can rent our products for 4 days as standard, and you can determine the rental period yourself. If you still want to spend more time with your product, you should email hello@modaloop.co during the rental, otherwise you will be charged an average daily rental fee for each delay day.

What can I do if the item I rented does not fit my size?

If you think that the rental product is not suitable for your size, we ask you to send the dress back to us within 24 hours with the label and box on it. After we receive the product, the fee you paid within the deduction for the dry cleaning cost will be deposited into your account within 7-10 working days.

Can I rent more than one product at a time?

Yes! As long as it is available between the dates you choose, you can rent as many products as you want at once.

Is there a late fee?

The late fee is equivalent to the average daily rental price of the product. In case of delay, Modaloop has the right to charge you this fee.

When do I pay the rental fee?

You can pay with your credit or debit card while renting from our website.

How do I return the product after my rental day is up?

You can send it back to your Modaloop warehouse address, free of charge, from the nearest Yurtiçi Cargo branch with our company code below. 874074763-MODALOOP

Should I ship the product on the last day of my rental day?

You can deliver it to your nearest Yurtiçi Cargo branch the day after your rental day is completed. In Modaloop, the rental day starts from the date the product reaches you.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order up to 24 hours before your rental day by sending an e-mail to hello@modaloop.co.

How can I rent my product on Modaloop?

To list your products on Modaloop, you can send an e-mail to hello@modaloop.co or contact us on our whatsapp line 0 534 971 35 00. Send us 4-5 photos of your products taken from different angles and the sales price and we will get back to you within 24 hours. When your products are approved, we will contact you to deliver the products to the Modaloop warehouse.

What types of products can I rent?

From the brands on our designer list, we accept wearable clothes and accessories in very good and good condition with a sales amount of 1000 TL or more. Do you have products that are not on our list but would like to rent? You can write to us at hello@modaloop.co 🙂

How can I set pricing for my products?

We recommend that you set a rental price for your product with an average of 10-15% of the sales price, this pricing may vary according to the supply demand of the product. How can I trust the renter?

In Modaloop, identity information is required during product rental, this is to protect our community by making our platform reliable.

What will I do if my products are damaged?

If your product becomes unusable due to rental, the sales price of your product will be allocated from the lessor. Damages of 50 TL or less are under the guarantee of Modaloop.

Who bears the cargo?

Shipping costs are covered by Modaloop for all rentals. If you want to send by express courier within Istanbul on the same day, delivery can be made at an additional cost.

Who pays for dry cleaning?

Dry cleaning is done by Modaloop, a dry cleaning company we have contracted with. After each rental, the products are delivered to you by dry cleaning just before they enter the loop again.

Can I temporarily freeze my locker?

If you want to freeze your closet or get your products back for personal reasons, just send an e-mail to hello@modaloop.com.

How much commission do you get from the rented product?

Modaloop manages the entire rental operation on your behalf. Uploading the products to the system, taking photos, dry cleaning, tailoring, logistics belongs to Modaloop. A commission fee of 40% is charged for all these services.

I rented my product, when can I get my payment?

In the Modaloop system, your money is deposited into your account within 7-10 business days after your products are rented.

What is the cost of listing?

Listing products on Modaloop is free! Since we work on a commission basis, we can win whenever you win 🙂

SECURITY & PAYMENT

Can we see who is renting the products?

User information is protected in Modaloop. Identity information is not shared with third parties in order to protect personal information. At this point, as Modaloop, we prioritize becoming a safe platform for both people who rent their products and those who rent them.

How should I price my products?

I damaged the product, how much should I pay?

All repair/tailoring/sewing fees up to 50 TL can be paid by Modaloop, except for theft of the product and rendering it completely unusable. Since the misuse of the products may occur in a different way in each rental, we separately evaluate the problems that arise in each rental operation. Is there a late fee?

The late fee is equivalent to the average daily rental price of the product. In case of delay, Modaloop has the right to charge you this fee.

DRY CLEANER

Who is responsible for dry cleaning?

Dry cleaning is covered by Modaloop. Renters do not need to have dry cleaning done.

How often are products sent to dry cleaning?

Dry cleaning is done by the contracted company for each product right after the rental.

BODY

Can I make repairs?

You can make minor modifications by hand sewing (tacking) method so as not to damage the product itself.

What is Modaloop Fit Assurance?

As Modaloop, if the product does not fit your size, you can deliver it to Yurtiçi Cargo to be sent to the Modaloop warehouse within 24 hours without removing the label. The dry cleaning cost of the product will be deducted and the fee you have paid will be deposited into your account within 7-10 working days.

How do I make sure the dress will fit my size?

We share detailed information about the products listed on Modaloop. If you still have questions, you can write to hello@modaloop.co.

The product I rented does not fit my size, what should I do?

If you think that the rental product is not suitable for your size, we kindly ask you to send the dress back to us on the same day with the label and box on it. After we receive the product, the fee you paid within the deduction for the dry cleaning cost will be deposited into your account within 4-5 working days.

CANCELLATION & REFUND

The product did not fit my size or not what I wanted, do you accept returns?

You can return the product within 24 hours with the Modaloop Fit Guarantee, we deduct the dry cleaning cost of the product and transfer the remaining fee to your account within 4-5 working days.

What happens if I return the product late?

If you return the product late, the late fee will be deducted. The delay fee is equivalent to the average daily rental price of the product. In case of delay, Modaloop has the right to charge you this fee.

The product I rented does not fit my size, what should I do?

If you think that the rental product is not suitable for your size, we ask you to send the dress back to us within 24 hours with the label and box on it. After we receive the product, the fee you paid within the deduction for the dry cleaning cost will be deposited into your account within 7-10 working days.

DAMAGE

What is damage protection?

We apply 50 TL damage protection against minor accidents for products rented in Modaloop. However, if the amount of damage to the product is over 50 TL, Modaloop has the right to demand the sale price of the product from the lessor, as stated in the rental agreement.

What will I do if I lose the product I rented?

Modaloop has the right to collect the entire sale price of the lost products from the lessor. For details, you can review the "rental agreement".

What happens if I accidentally damage the rental product?

Due to our solidarity in the Modaloop community, we expect everyone who uses the products to be careful and attentive. Still, thinking that minor accidents can always happen; Products are under Modaloop damage protection for damage other than theft and rendering of the dress unwearable. If the product cannot be worn again, Modaloop is obliged to demand the entire sale price of the product from the lessor.

Can I repair the product I rented?

You can make modifications to the rented products by using the tack method without damaging the product, for the purpose of adjusting it according to your own height. We recommend that you avoid methods other than this method and stay away from possible damage.

DELIVERY & CARGO

What modes of delivery are available?

Delivery is made with Yurtiçi Cargo with which we have a contract. We also provide motor courier service within Istanbul for same day delivery.

What is the shipping fee ?

All shipping is free on Modaloop.

Is same day delivery available?

Same day delivery is only valid for Istanbul. If delivery by express courier is preferred, an additional fee is charged.

How can I know that the product I rented has reached you?

We inform you that we have received the product.
